Buyer protection begins with awareness, verification, and safe payment practices. This page explains how to protect yourself from fraud.

1. Verify the Seller Properly

• Check the sellers phone number, reviews, and past listings.
• Ask for Aadhaar, GST, or business registration (if applicable).
• Request real photos or videos of the product.
• Confirm pickup location or warehouse address.
• Never rely only on display pictures or copied images.

2. Before You Make Any Payment

• Check product quality, size, grade, and quantity.
• Ask for a written confirmation or invoice.
• Avoid advance payment without proof.
• Prefer part-payment after verification.
• Verify delivery or pickup arrangements clearly.

3. Safe Payment Practices

Payments on MahaAgri.ai happen directly between buyer and seller. Follow these rules for safety:

• Use only verified UPI IDs or bank accounts.
• Avoid unknown links or QR codes.
• Cross-check the account name before transfer.
• Do not pay full amount before receiving goods.
• Keep screenshots of every transaction.

⚠ MahaAgri.ai will never ask for payment, UPI PIN, or OTP.

4. Common Fraud Red Flags

• Prices that seem too low or unrealistic.
• Sellers rushing you to pay immediately.
• No proper verification or avoiding calls/video proof.
• Asking for advance before showing product.
• Sending fake photos or stock images.

5. Legal Responsibility of Buyers

MahaAgri.ai is a platform for listing and communication only. We do not provide:

• Refunds or replacements
• Guarantee of product quality
• Escrow or payment protection
• Third-party verification
• Dispute resolution services

Buyers must verify sellers, products, and payments independently before proceeding.
