MahaAgri.AI respects legal compliance and intellectual property rights. We provide a transparent mechanism to report unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate content hosted on our platform in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Intermediary Status: As an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000, MahaAgri.AI complies with all applicable safe harbor provisions and acts promptly upon receiving valid takedown notices.
1. Reporting Content
Users may report content that is:
- Illegal or unlawful under Indian laws
- Misleading, false, or deceptive
- Defamatory or harassing
- Infringing intellectual property rights (copyright, trademark, etc.)
- Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit
- Hateful or promoting violence
- Violating privacy or data protection rights
- Impersonating another person or entity
Required Information for Complaints:
To process your complaint efficiently, please include:
- Your name and contact information
- Specific URL(s) or location of the content
- Description of the content and why it violates policy/law
- Supporting evidence or documentation
- Declaration of good faith belief
- Your electronic or physical signature
2. How to Submit a Complaint
All content takedown requests must be submitted to our Grievance Officer via:

3. Review Process
Upon receiving a complaint, we follow a structured review process:

Acknowledgment (24 hours): We acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 24 hours.

Initial Review (36 hours): We conduct an initial review to verify the complaint's validity.

Investigation (7 days): For complex cases, we investigate thoroughly.

Decision & Action (15 days): Final decision and action within 15 days as required by law.
We may contact the content provider for their response before making a final determination.
4. Types of Actions Taken
Upon finding content that violates our policies or applicable law, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Content Removal: Remove or disable access to specific content
- Account Suspension: Temporarily suspend user accounts
- Account Termination: Permanently terminate accounts for serious violations
- Content Restriction: Age-restrict or geo-block certain content
- Labeling: Add warnings or labels to content
- Legal Referral: Refer matters to law enforcement authorities
Emergency Situations: For content involving imminent harm, violence, or child safety, we take immediate action upon verification.
5. Copyright Infringement (DMCA-style Notice)
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed, please provide:
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
- Identification of the infringing material and its location
- Your contact information
- A statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized
- A statement that the information is accurate
- Your physical or electronic signature
Counter-Notification:
If your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with: identification of removed content, statement of good faith belief, consent to jurisdiction, and your signature.
6. False Complaints
Submitting false, frivolous, or malicious complaints may result in:
- Suspension of the reporting party's account
- Termination of access to platform services
- Legal action for damages caused by false claims
- Reporting to appropriate authorities
Important: By submitting a complaint, you certify that the information provided is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
7. Appeals Process
Content providers whose material has been removed may appeal by:
- Emailing contact@mahaagri.ai with subject "APPEAL: [Content ID]"
- Explaining why the content should be restored
- Providing supporting documentation
- Including contact information for verification
Appeals are reviewed within 7 business days. The decision on appeal is final.
8. Data Retention of Complaints
We maintain records of all takedown complaints and actions taken for a period of 3 years in compliance with legal requirements. These records may be shared with law enforcement or regulatory authorities when required.
